Hello golfers,

 

It's not rained properly for a while now. The only reason I know this is because I've had my roof fixed and Ive not been able to test it out yet! I have faith this time, this being the 4th time in 8 years I've had it repaired. 

Now isn't that something, finding someone you trust to provide you with a reliable service. It is so difficult these days because nobody cares. 

Another company that doesn't care is "Currys" who I used to buy a machine. I also paid for them to take the old one away and plumb the new one in as I wouldn't be there to do. Pardon the expression but the 2 delivery men said "My pipe was too wobbly and too risky to try and plumb it in". We all know that plumbing a washing machine just involves the unscrewing and screwing on of a pipe. Well, the Genius Boys from "Currys" couldn't do it. What a pair of pliers they were. It's slightly ironic the fact that they use the tag line "KNOWHOW" when they don't KNOW HOW to do the simplest of tasks.

So here is a recommendation from me, Use people you trust who you have used before. Value for money is when you can get the service you want at an acceptable price.

This is good for you as you get what you want at a price that you want, and all from a person that you can trust!

I can also plumb in washing machines and just for the record, my pipe is not wobbly!

I Went To M&D's Theme Park

On Sunday I took the family to M&D's theme park. It was great fun for the kids, and whilst they were on the rides, I played a couple of games myself. These were entitled, 'how many facial tattoos can you spot in 5 minutes' and 'where do you think you parked your car before it was nicked'!

 I am only joking of course, the kids loved it and that was the main thing.

Getting To Grips With Better Golf

I have been motoring through quite a few lessons this week, and one of the biggest problems I am seeing is the fact that peoples grips are so worn. This makes it virtually impossible to control the club face, club path, to create speed and to develop feel.

In many cases it would be like trying to swing a club with a teflon coated grip.

Most players are unaware that their clubs do need regripped, but when we show them how it will benefit them, then they completely agree that they need to do something. I will only regrip when I think that it is necessary, so pop in for your FREE equipment MOT.

A special mention to a Lady who decided to get her clubs regripped last week. She did say that she was going to judge me on how well she played with them on that day.

Masters Sweepstake

Hop Along To The Club This Easter Sunday

I love Easter, and even the smaller kids like it too.

On Easter Sunday, 27 March there will be a children's Egg Hunt between 11am and 1pm.

Together with the Egg Hunt, there will be Face Painting and a Petting Zoo. The event is FREE of charge and all are welcome. However, please register your interest at the bar so that we know the numbers in advance.
