Greetings,
They say that bad luck comes in threes but mine comes in twelves. The last week has been more challenging than dividing 13 by an orange. I've had PC/till disasters, drain problems and an outbreak of chickenpox to deal with. There were more disasters, but many were too shocking to print. That is enough of the negativity and now for some supercharged positive things.

Members Learning Car Sign Language
Communication is something we all take for granted, and sometimes you can't communicate with people all the time. I often find this when driving and seeing people I know in other cars. The odd wave is what I try and do, and this is the only kind of sign language I can manage.
But I was totally amazed at the effort 2 of our members went to this week when I saw them at 2 of East Kilbride's many roundabouts.
Philip Harris and Neil Paterson went to extra lengths to tell me via hand gestures from their cars that I was their "number 1".
Thank you so much guys, I love you too.
Our New Under Armour Range Has Arrived
The latest drop of our Under Armour range has arrived in-store and it is a knockout. The quality and colours are as brilliant as ever, and as always it is very reasonably priced. If you have ever purchased anything from Under Armour, you will know how great it is.
The only negative about it is that they only make a certain amount of the range and we only get an allocated amount without the possibility of rendering in many cases.
So drop by soon or it may well be too late. Quite a lot has been snapped up already.

Check Out Our Club Crested Head-Covers I have added some more crested items to the shop this week, and if your head covers are looking tired, then feast your eyes on these gems.
Again we only have a limited stock of these and some are already on players clubs already.
Get in touch now.
Complete Game SolutionMany of you have taken up my Complete Game Solution offer, and we have made a difference to your games already.
The offer basically gives you a
FREE custom fit and a lesson when you buy a set of clubs. But as always I have passed on honest information, and only sold club stop those who need them. It is not just about selling clubs, it's about providing solutions to your game through education and clubs if necessary.
The feedback I have had from 3 players in particular this week has been really nice to hear.
One chap was really struggling to strike his current clubs when he came for a fitting, but I knew that new clubs were not an option at that time and a lesson was what was needed. No clubs were sold, but information was given to improve his strike first. Without doing this, I would be falling into the category of a high street golf store where a golfer's wallet is valued more than their game. The chap a few days later came into the shop to shake my hand as his game had improved immensely without new clubs. Trusting someone with your golf game is so important and I am that man. Just
contact me here and let me help you.

Trade in your old golf GPS and get £50 off a new SkyCaddie
- Is your old GPS letting you down?
- Does its battery not last a round?
- Does it still not show the new additions to the golf courses you play? If so then you should think about a new one and I will trade in your old one against a new SkyCaddie unit.

The Range Signs Are Out The feedback we are receiving about the improvements we are making to our practice facilities has been so positive. The short game area is looking great and the practice net is nearly complete.
The practice range yardage markers are now out and it now is beginning to look like a practice range.
The damage of not replacing divots and seeding the old divots over the years has taken its toll with the prospect of getting a good lie becoming very difficult over the years. This is why we have roped off areas to grow turf that we can regulate play from.
You will probably have seen this at resort style courses, and the turf will be great to hit from when ready. Without doing this, you will only be able to hit from poor lies and this is not what you need to get better.
You will also have targets to aim towards and distances to make your practice more worthwhile. Just please understand that we are trying to make things better for you all, and please be patient as we make the changes.
Here's what I will look like minus the sunshine and bag holders!

Junior Flag Day A Huge Success
On Sunday we welcomed over 50 Junior Golfers from all over the Country to our great golf club. Juniors are the future of the game and our club, and we all need to help encourage them through their younger years and into full members here at East Kilbride.
The Junior Flag competition allowed us to showcase our club and our great facilities to the kids and their families. It was brilliant to see all these little ones chipping and putting before they ventured out onto the course. They were all so excited and buzzing to get out and enjoy their golf. The weather was lovely and the feedback we received from everyone was great.
Here are some pictures of what was going on.
