Its been an emotional week as I have been watching Eastenders and the murder of Lucy Beale has had everyone in tears, even Phil ‘Mad Dog’ Mitchell was blubbering as he comforted Ian Beale. Yes life as a golf pro isn't that glamorous, I watch Eastenders and eat mince and potatoes. I am just like you!

LOCKHART AND BROWN AQUIRE SOME SILVERWARE

Don’t worry they did not steal any silverware, they won some! Yes 2 of Linlithgow’s hottest golfing talent won The Buick Cup at Braehead Golf Club at the weekend. Yes lads I am being serious, you both are very good golfers and I'm sure this Trophy is just the first of many. So much so I would like to recommend the ‘Jakob’ sideboard from IKEA which would be a great display case for your Trophies. Its on page 42 of the catalogue if you are struggling to find it.

TAYLORMADE FITTING DAY

We had a TaylorMade Fitting day last week and we got a great day for it. The event went on for 6 hours and we had some great results. TaylorMade use the same radar ball tracking device as myself and it is always interesting to watch what they do and how they operate the system. I am very lucky to have fitted all levels of players from all over the world but sometimes it quite nice to watch. Clubs are not always the answer and that's why under 50% of the people that attended are actually getting clubs. There is no way that I would ever sell someone clubs unless the completely needed them!
