Greetings,
This week more champions had the names etched in our history books. One was young Susan Woodhouse who after one round had an 11 shot gap between her and the second placed lady. Truly amazing achievement for her and the club. This was Susan's first Championship win and to be honest I see her winning a whole lot more.
Next we had Greg Andrews who successfully defended his Junior Scratch Championship against the hot young talent at the club. He edged out in front over the closing holes where an eagle 2 at 15 and birdie 2 at 17 made him hard to catch.
The Junior Handicap Salver was won this year by Michael Anderson. Michael hits it miles, so it will only be a matter of time before he gets himself in the hunt for the scratch championship.

Stuart has been accepted onto the PGA course
My young talented assistant Stuart has been accepted onto the PGA Degree course and will be starting this come September. I am absolutely thrilled for Stuart as he is one of the most diligent and hardworking people I know, and I am very pleased for him.
It is great news for me also as it marks another successful milestone from my Business Plan I created when I applied for the Job here as your Professional. I feel that as your Professional I have come a long way and my team of Stuart and Ian have allowed me to progress at a rapid rate. I am trying very hard to do as much as I can for the club and the support you all have shown us is 1st class.
Thank you again and I am sure Stuart will prove to be a big success within the PGA.
