Golf Performance Lab

I would like to thank everyone who came up to the club for my presentation last Thursday. Was rather nervous but the feedback I received was absolutely brilliant. A Golf Performance Lab has been something that I have been researching since I arrived here and something that I know is going to add to great value to your membership here at East Kilbride Golf Club.

It is going to be something that will be a first for the area and something which is going to provide you with golf all year round regardless of daylight or weather. It is going to open up so many new possibilities of revenue generation for the club and allow us to grow golf in our area. 

Here are a few images of what you will be able to do within the golf lab.

If you feel you have any skills in I.T or any other skills that could help me make it a success then please let me know. Any help at all would be most welcome.

Is It Really Fitting?

I keep on about getting fitted for clubs and I'm going to explain a few things to you.

1. New golf clubs are most of the time not the answer (I cant believe he said that)

2. Sometimes your current clubs just need to be tweaked to make you better. (I bet you no member of staff at a big golf retail outlet has said that to you)

3. Most clubs from most manufacturers are not checked before leaving the factory (This means that your clubs aren't what they should be, unless you got them from me)

4. If you go for a fitting at a discount store very close to here then you will be using balls that in no way replicate a golf ball. You might as well use Ping Pong Balls. (Therefore your clubs will be no use when using good golf balls)
