I am writing this from my sick bed, yes the bug that caused devastation to my car upholstery last week took full effect on me in the early hours of Sunday morning. I’m not going to go into detail about it but it was awful. It was like a horror film!

Winter Fitness Regime

It seems very apt that I talk to you about my winter fitness regime. I have recently joined a gym and no ordinary gym, it is a 24 hour one. It is also a Gym owned by one of our members. It is called Anytime Fitness Clarkston and it is amazing. Not to be confused with the one over at PlaySport, this is the gym situated at Clarkston Toll. It is packed full with the latest equipment and is so modern and clean. Once you are a member here for over a month, you then can use any of the other “Anytime Fitness” gyms. If you are considering a new gym then I would really suggest you give this one a try. I have a few 3 day passes for the gym to give away, so just drop me a line and I will let you have one.

I am 38 and want to be able to say reasonably fit going forward and yes I want to be able to swing the golf club faster and faster! Something that most of you need to do also. I will be monitoring my club-head speed throughout my fitness campaign and will be reporting back to you all.

Winter Simulator League (Daytime Spaces)

Our winter simulator evenings have started and the feedback we have received has been excellent. Many of you have expressed an interest in playing in this format but in the daytime as it suits you better.

With this in mind, we have decided to offer you the chance to play in a simulator league during the day between 12pm and 3 pm. You will need to have a team of 4 players with valid handicaps. With these sessions being held during normal shop hours we can also reduce the cost to only £8 per person! These sessions are open to ladies and men.
