Welcome to another exciting edition to East Kilbride's weekly newsletter.

We deserve this weather, we completely do. Sun and soaring temperatures have made us hotter than Marbella and boy isn't it lovely.

I genuinely can’t remember anything like it. It's absolutely awesome and I hope it lasts for Pros Day. We have been so lucky for the last three years and I have my fingers crossed.

Pro's Day Evening

As many of you already know, I love a party and hopefully you do too. The night party is a ticketed event so we can get commitment for numbers. A party isn't a party without people so you can buy tickets now. They are priced at £4 each and all monies are going to a star prize draw.

I have even got some festival like wrist bands that will act as tickets so you can pretend you are reliving your youth at a club 18-30 holiday in Rhodes!

I can guarantee a fun filled evening with lots of surprises and an evening where you can support the club.

You can bring guests also, so just contact myself or the bar for tickets.

Keeping You Updated

At present we are working with half of our green staff and with this weather comes a lot of extra watering and a lot is hand watering. I would ask you all to be patient as they have a lot to do. Young Scott who is a very competent green keeper is leading the team at the moment and the Pro Shop team will be doing all we can to help him.

Slow Play

We again had an issue with slow play at the weekend. It is so simple guys, if a game is holding you up and they have lost a hole, ask to play through! If they don't let you then call the shop and I will deal with it. If you are holding the course up then you have to let others through. If you don't then the whole course backs up. Let’s get this happening guys!

Phil Smith's Out Two Two's!

It’s quite an achievement to get a two during a Medal and young Phil managed to get two last week. Not only that but he managed to pick up over £60 for his troubles. Here’s a little picture of Phil sending you all peace and love man.
