Greetings,
I hope you all had a wonderful week on fun, golf and more fun. The topic of conversation of last week was of course that of 'Who would be the Ryder Cup Wildcards'. Stephen Gallachers epic display throughout the season and especially during the last counting event, The Italian Open, for me made him a dead cert and this was proven to be correct on Tuesday. The other wildcards were Ian Poulter and Lee Westwood. To be honest these are the picks that most of us would have made ourselves and if Captain Paul hadn't picked Gallacher, then I think that he could have had anarchy on his hands come the end of the month. Our resident bookmaker 'Mark Whyte' said that Gallachers pick was 2/7 on and easy money, especially as he was seen in the Platform 3 pub on Monday night celebrating!
SCOTLAND Vs THE GERMANS
It has been a very long time since I have been excited about a football match, remember that I am a Rangers fan and it's been a torrid time for me. Scotland have given me a tickle in the last year as they have given some solid performances under 'The Doberman Pincher' 'Gordon Strachan'. The 4 foot mad man had instilled some fight and set a fire burning right up our kilts. The stage was set, the Yes & No voters came together just for one night and BOOOOOOOOOM!
Basically the referee had to be German. We were brilliant and we were robbed. It's the best I have seen Scotland play since Gordon Strachan tried to leap over the sponsor's boards all those years ago.
DUCKING GREAT FASHION
Over my 6 and 1/2 years at Linlithgow I have witnessed more fashion phobias than Lady Gaga. Last week I witnessed one that I just shouldn't have liked, but I did. I have never ever seen a polo shirt quite like the one Jim Scott was wearing on Saturday. Jim likes to play with a soft draw and is partial to the odd duck hook but I never thought he would embrace the feathered bird as a fashion piece. I absolutely love the shirt and may find it pretty 'Mallard' to get one, feather or not I do find one, you can all rest assured that this shirt was ducking brilliant!
DAISY BELL
Just a quick apology regarding the headline of last week's newsletter as many of you thought that Hilary hadn't given birth to a baby girl and we had named it Daisy. It was in fact a surprise to many of my family who also came to the same conclusion. I can officially reveal that the baby is still not hear and if it is a girl, we have no plans whatsoever to call her Daisy.
HAVE YOU PROBLEMS GETTING OUT OF THE ROUGH?
We use radar ball tracking nearly every single day and people say "Do you need it?" Well, yes I do! The reason being, the system allows us to monitor patterns in players golf swings. These patterns can be used to help people. When players have difficulty in trying to get the ball out of the rough, we tend to see a pattern. Have a look at my weekly video to see how we can help!
