Why Is The Price Of Golf Clubs Going Up? Golf clubs are getting more expensive unfortunately and I can assure you it’s not because of our margin. It is simply down to manufacturers not selling as many units. Technology is near enough maxed out and this is again why you should come to me and not shops set up to sell clubs. Most of the time we will tell a player not to upgrade and instead let us optimise their current equipment. Golf Pride for example have now taken a different strategy as they are not selling as many grips to manufacturers, they are looking into the technology of rubber and the design of their products to give players more. This is certainly the way forward and we often recommend new grips instead of new clubs during our fittings. I know that I can’t convince everyone but if you sit down and rationalise your thinking then you will understand where I am coming from. In the last week we have carried out around 15 fittings and only 5 people got clubs. Now you know I can chat and if I wanted I could have sold more clubs but I want you to get better without spending unnecessary money. Why? Well simply I want to become the 'Golf Consultant' where people come to see me because I am the one that can sort your game the quickest and without the fear of being sold a false dream. My rate will go up but I will still save golfers money by not having to sell golf clubs all the time. I have club making skills that allow me to do fantastic things to golf clubs to make you better. This is unfortunately a forgotten art and I do club repairs for numerous golf pros who simply can’t do them. So if you want to get better for less money then come and see 'THE GOLF CONSULTANT'.
