Greetings,
I hope you are all well and are dealing with the severe decline in golfing weather. The polo shirts and shorts have been thrown into the attic and replaced by waterproofs, base layers and a packet of hand-warmers from last year's Christmas stocking. If your winter wardrobe needs refreshed, then here is a brief description of what I will be stocking in the shop.
UNDER ARMOUR
I think most of you will be aware of the sports brand 'UNDER ARMOUR' and how it has become more and more popular as the years go on. I would class it as a dual sports brand as it can be used for more than one sport and thus giving you more value for money. If you already own an Under Armour product then you will know how good they are and how well they last.
We will be holding the full Autumn/Winter golf range in store and we will also be stocking other parts of the sports range, like gym and running wear. We have also been selected by Under Armour to have part of the shop merchandised by them to improve your overall shopping experience. We will be one of six in Scotland this year.
GALVIN GREEN
Galvin Green is synonymous with quality golf apparel, especially waterproofs and we will have a great range for you to choose from. We will also be able to offer you great prices but great service to match. We will also be able to educate you in how to care for your clothing better thus increasing its performance and lifespan.
ASHWORTH
We will be using Ashworth as our club crested clothing brand this year and I have ordered a great selection of modern and classic items for you to cast your eyes over. We will have both gents and ladies in stock and in a variety of styles and sizes.
We can pretty much logo anything clothing or sportswear related you want, so please just ask if you have any requests.
J LINDEBERG
This is one of my all-time favourite brands and the coolest guy on tour 'Robert Rock' wears it. It is a designer golf brand but again a dual purpose brand as it can be worn on the course or off it. I call off-course 'The Pub' but I am sure you guys have a different name for it!
SHOES
We will be stocking Ecco, FootJoy and adidas going forward which will give you a great selection to choose from. There will be different price points, ranging from £45, so we will always be able to cater for what you need.
BALLS
From our online survey it was clear that certain brands of balls are more popular and the most popular brands were Titleist & Srixon. Titleist were top ball with nearly 60% of the poll. Srixon had nearly 25% and all the other brands made up the remaining 15%. Loads of stats but it allows me to get the most appropriate stock for you all. These two brands will be our core balls but I will still have access to any other brands as long as you can give me some notice.
GLOVES
We will always stock a great number of gloves from various different brands: FootJoy, Titleist, Srixon, Wilson and Under Armour to name a few. We will have leather, all-weather, rain and cold weather gloves.

JUNIOR COACHING
My Winter Junior Coaching Program is going to start on Tuesday 11th November at Playsport Golf Range and will run on a weekly basis. This will be open to all Junior Members of East Kilbride Golf Club and will cost £5 per person per session. We will finalise times in the coming week and if you would like to register interest then please contact me here.
This won't be like any coaching session you have been to as we will be utilising all of our high tech coaching equipment. Radar and high speed video analysis will allow us to give everyone an idea of where they can improve.
