Summer has landed with a scorching bump. Temperatures will soar to around 30 this week. There have been some speedo warnings issued for South Lanarkshire, so beware out there. It’s this time of year where everyone thrusts their way into B&Q searching for a sprinkler and the biggest paddling pool you can buy. Sadly within a week that sprinkler will be at the back of your shed and that paddling pool will be a makeshift mortuary for bumblebees, flies and the occasional ladybird. |

Bell’s Annual Holiday

Last month sadly saw the closing of Eastwood Golf Club. It is not nice to see any golf club close its doors and Eastwood had many great people associated with it. One was the Head Professional 'Steven Maxwell', a professional who had developed many aspects of the club during very difficult times.
