Many of you have been opening the hall cupboard and reaching for the can of de-icer as temperatures have dropped again this week. They dropped but not as much as my prices over the weekend during the grand opening of the shop. Ok there was no cutting of ribbon but there was slashing of prices (I really should have been a headline writer for the sun). CUSTOM FITTING WITH OUR RADAR BALL TRACKING SYSTEM
We held two FREE fitting days at Broadlees Driving Range this week and we were inundated with members wanting to take advantage of our unique services. So what makes us unique, my chat obviously is unique but anyone can buy a system like mine if they have a spare £10,000. The key to bettering your golf and equipment is to get the correct information from the Radar System and then use that to build your perfect club or improve your swing. I always like to use this analogy, imagine you needed to have an MRI scan and you had the option to go somewhere to have a fully trained and experienced person to operate the sophisticated equipment or to go to a centre with a machine who is operated by someone who works at the front desk? Would you trust the results from someone who isn't qualified, I certainly wouldn't. That's why I am fully confident that I can give you the advice you need.
We did 18 fittings over the two days and I only recommended changing clubs to 8 people. Does that mean I am a poor salesman? No it means that I am honest at what I do and that sometimes modern technology makes no improvement to your game. In many situations I educated players on where the ball was coming out of the club face and how that can affect the balls movement and ball speed. We also focused a lot of the golf clubs angle of attack and how that can really make a huge difference in a players driving distance. We fitted quite a number of great players from the club and I can honestly say that we could give them around 10-15 yards just by changing the angle the club comes into the ground. It really is fascinating and that's why I love what I do.
We also found out that certain styles of iron heads worked better with certain swing directions and how much a difference having the correct style can have an impact in your game.
