The weather bomb has arrived here at East Kilbride and dispatched more weather systems in one day than Michael Fish did in his 20 year career. For those of you under 30 years old, Michael Fish was a famous weatherman from Scotland. We have been very fortunate with the weather and only in the last 2 weeks have the thermals and de-icer been looked out, so we can't really complain.

CLUB FUNCTION BONANZA
I do enjoy a social gathering and last week I was invited to 2 of them at the club. The first was 'The Past Captains Dinner' where I did a Radar Custom Fitting Presentation for them. It was great to meet all of the Captains from days gone by and the food was great again. Nobody fell asleep during my presentation, which was great feedback!
The second social evening was 'The Presentation of Prizes' and after waiting 45 minutes for a taxi to the Club I decided to drive and leave the car at the club. To cut a long story short I managed to turn up late for the prize giving. Wonderful start to my career at the club! The prize giving was great, the buffet was great but the Karaoke was out of this world. For those of you who didn't stay you missed the following:

The evening was as good as any night I have been to and after my wedding anniversary, it will be the next thing in my calendar for 2015!

I am always scanning the golfing world for great products and I have found some real beauties modelled by our very own 'Fabio' Kieran McVickar and our other trainee 'Manni' the mannequin!. Stubart have produced some great pieces at seriously low prices. The bonded fleece that Kieran is wearing is a great product and is very similar to the Insula piece from Galvin Green but half the price, yes half the price!
