Gimme Dat, Gimme Dat
Gimme, Gimme, Gimme Dat
Gimme Dat Ding, Gimme Dat
Gimme, Gimme Dat, Gimme Dat Ding
Gimme Dat, Gimme, Gimme Dat,
Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, Dat Ding!
Gimme gate has been all over the news this weekend, and let's be honest it was the most cringeworthy thing I've seen on TV since 'Angel Rippon' and 'Gloria Hungerford' on 'Fake Britain'. That show is terrible but the Solhiem Cup was bad bad viewing. Suzanne Peterson was bang out of order as she did everything in her power to win at all costs. I think that we all know someone who would do this and I bet it's someone who you wouldn't really choose to play with! In my opinion the Captain's should have got together and intervened in the madness, but they didn't. I do believe that this gave the Americans the momentum going into the final round and I think the Golfing Gods of Karma sorted the whole thing out. The USA were rightful winners and the naughty Swede wrote a very sincere apology on Monday. The matter is now closed!
Pupils Doing Well
Being an Independent golf coach and a custom fitter means I do have to blow my trumpet on the odd occasion to show you guys I really do know what I am doing. So here's how my pupils fared over the last couple of weeks:
1st Class - Won by Dougie Spark - Recently fitted to a PING G30 Driver & 3 Wood
3rd Class - Won by John D McLean - Fitted to irons woods and wedges this year.

Finals Happening All Over The Place
This season's competitions are coming to an end with many finals taking place at the club. We have actually renamed the club 'Scotland's Great Barrier Reef' due to the large amount of Sharks that patrol our waters.
Two Salmon in amongst the sharks were David and Jack McMorris. They were dominant throughout all the rounds of the Baxter Trophy and never were taken past the 14th hole in each round. David and I have spent quite a bit of time working on his game and finding him a set of clubs that matched his swing characteristics. I do believe David's older clubs were holding him back and hopefully this is just the start of great things to come.
The Practice AreaI hope you have all seen a difference in the condition of the practice area. We have roped off areas that needed to regenerate and they have come on very nicely indeed. We have also put down sand and seed for our avid practicers to fill in their holes of hard work.
My next stage of the plan is to produce some distance markers out there. I will get there and it may take me some time but I will get it looking great for next season. We will need to make adjustments to the layout as at present it does not lend itself to more than a few people on it at once.
We shall overcome this but please be patient.
